HOW WILL THE CLASS BE SET UP?
The Grief Compass Line Course is a self-paced online program organized into eight guided modules, each designed to support reflection, emotional awareness, and gentle integration of grief-related experiences over time.
Each module includes:
- A short video or audio teaching
- Guided contemplative or somatic-based practices
- Optional reflective prompts or journaling invitations
Modules are released all at once, allowing participants to move through the material at their own pace and return to practices as needed. There is no required schedule, and participants are encouraged to engage with the course in ways that feel supportive and manageable for you.
The practices are designed to be accessible and can be completed seated, with modifications offered to accommodate a range of physical abilities. Participation in all exercises is optional.
This course is educational and experiential in nature and is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic care. Participants are encouraged to seek additional support from qualified healthcare or mental health professionals as needed.
I DON'T HAVE MUCH EXPERIENCE WITH MEDITATION OR YOGA? CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?
Yes—this program is appropriate for individuals with no prior experience as well as those with advanced knowledge in yoga or meditation. Grief is a universal human experience, and the practices offered are designed to support gentle emotional exploration and self-awareness. All exercises may be performed seated in a chair and include modifications to accommodate a range of mobility needs and physical abilities. Participation is always optional, and individuals are encouraged to move at their own pace and within their personal comfort level.
