Welcome to Somatic Relief for Grief, a healing membership designed to guide you through the emotional and physical grief journey with intentional, somatic-based practices.

It is a safe space to release, reconnect, and reclaim peace through guided monthly classes.

The Body Grieves...

Grief is not only a mental or emotional response; it's also a physical response. 
Grief will express itself through the body in many and varying ways, such as fatigue, exhaustion, digestive difficulties, headaches, insomnia, and so many more. It'll kick up old chronic issues and increase pain. The mind and body are linked. 

However, just as the body experiences grief, we can reverse engineer the process through the body as well to create somatic relief for grief. Breathing exercises, movement practices, mindfulness meditation, and guided imagery are all known as "somatic practices" to help the body heal. 

These foundational practices help with letting go, creating relief and peace, and helping amidst the overwhelm.

I am AmarAtma Singh Khalsa, a Grief Specialist and Founder of the Institute for Compassionate Grieving - redefining grief not just as something to endure but as a gateway to more profound healing, self-compassion, and transformation. It bothers me that grief is a universal response that lacks universal solutions. With over 15 years of experience, I integrate mind-body medicine, spiritual wisdom, and somatic healing, shifting grief from something we suppress to something we embrace—because healing grief is healing life itself.
